It’s hilarious how arrogant General Zod is in Superman 2

This was one of the more original takes on a comic book villain I’ve seen, especially for that time period. Most villains are always showcasing pure hatred or pure joy out of being a villain. But i love Zod’s calm, condescending demeanor in Superman 2. It’s like he’s bored and lowkey disgusted at how pathetic his opponents are lol

What i remember the most is how he was casually observing the secret service while being shot. They look serious as hell and hes lookin like " what in the world are these idiots doing"

This Zod was badass and intelligent, notice how he peeped that the decoy wasn’t the real president “one who leads so many would not bow so easily” Then the real US president steps forward on some “I will kneel if it will save lives” Zod being the cold hearted motherfukker he is hits him with the zinger “it will starting with your own”.
