I was right on the border of Mt Oliver and Carrick near Brownsville. It was terrible, but like a lot of bigger cities, it can be street-by-street. There was a lot of dangerous white trash near me. I think they claimed Crip. They actually shot a rap video on the street one day and got my car in the video



But I thought there were a lot of not so nice pockets there. It's just a rundown city. I left in 2012, so maybe some has changed, but it was East Hills, Wilkinsburg, Mt Oliver, Homewood, etc. Just a lot of gang/drug activity. No different than many others places, just left jaded after a lot of what I experienced.

Yah, I moved to NYC from Pittsburgh in 2012. It is rundown, it's the oldest and most poorly constructed city in America.

All the bridges falling apart, houses boarded up, roads constantly under construction...east Hills, Wilikinsburg, homewood, MT oliver, that's pretty much the hood right there. The burbs aren't much better....just spread out with restaurants malls, shops, sports bars and not much else.

There were more serious charges. Smith was accused in a shooting last year and charged with recklessly endangering safety, a felony.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Smith was subsequently accused of pressuring the victim to recant statements that identified him as the gunman and was charged with trying to intimidate a witness. The charges were dropped because the victim recanted the identification and failed to appear in court, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern told the newspaper Sunday.

Smith also pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon in 2014.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke said at a news conference that Smith had been arrested 13 times.

"He's got a bunch of drug arrests here, robbery, use of force," Clarke said.

But Smith was father to a 2-year-old toddler, too, his mother said.

"My son is gone due to the police killing my son," a distraught Mildred Haynes told the Journal Sentinel on Sunday. "I am lost."

Police pretend to care about the issue and say they are "investigating" or "leading an investigation" into the police department. Black people still get killed by police for nothing.
Protest. Black people still get killed by police for nothing.
Riot. Black people still get killed by police for nothing.
Practice group economics. Black people still get killed by police for nothing.
Pull up our pants, speak proper english and not hood talk, and get jobs in the system. Black peopel still get killed by police for nothing.

What more can I say? The desperation is palpable. AS long as we're living under the system of white supremacy we will continue to be it's victims and cannon fodder. Nothing short of leaving America for Africa can stop this.

It's almost as if they're just ramping up the forces to finally do us in. When they do these investigations, have all of the token black figureheads out to calm the crowds, they really create situations where blacks are put on further notice as dangerous and police allocate funds to increase training, create divisional units that hire former military, and other stuff to connotate that we're a threat that needs to be controlled instead of treating us with civility and as equals under protection of the state/national laws.

So this isn't a black people problem and never was. We don't control this system. A recent article said that it would take 228 years for black Americans to catch up with white wealth. So what money can we offer up to protect us in this capitalistic society that put us on the bottom?

There is more at play here than just cops and robbers...this is about the herders (police, justice system, govt, etc) controlling the cattle (us).

It doesn't matter what you say to these, they not gonna listen. They just don't get it or want to get it.

I mean for God's sake during slavery when are women ancestors were getting raped, we were still the savages.

During the Civil rights when grown adults were spitting and throwing things at Black kids going to school, we where still the Savage ones.
