Frequency………….

This 100%.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've smoked anything in my life (Hookah = 3x and Cigar = 2x). Most cigar smokers will have a one here and there with some whiskey, brandy etc, and then might not smoke much after that.

Most cigarette smokers....smoke at least half a pack/day, every day. One cigar is more dangerous than one cigarette but cigar smokers don't seem to get addicted to it (MJ notwithstanding).

People view cigars as a special event. Something you roll out after specific occasions, like getting a promotion or winning a sports event. The perception is that people don’t smoke them daily like cigs.

I was always under the impression that cigars are worse for you. And yes some people smoke those things all the time. My boss has a cigar room in his house. Dude gets home from work, goes in there and smokes a cigar while drinking bourbon (before greeting his family, btw). It’s manly shyt but…Breh gonna die soon if he doesn’t cut that shyt out.

The other thing is that you are way less likely to see someone smoking cigars around you as opposed to cigarettes.

Cigars and champagne are celebratory...crack one after achieving something big....not for everyday

Not just celebratory, but you can smoke cigars as a way to relax and reflect. I often smoke on the weekend, throw on my headphones and listen to soft jazz or cigar lounge music. It's very relaxing and I just contemplate on life and goals. It's a real stress reliever.

How much nicotine in cigars?

Cigars can have up to 100-200 milligrams of nicotine and cigarettes average eight milligrams. That means smoking one cigar can have as much nicotine as more than a pack of unfiltered cigarettes. Another difference is how they're consumed.

Cigars do not have nicotine.

I don't think this is accurate.
I meant inhaled nicotine. You don't inhale the actually nicotine.

Items that also contain nicotine:
Potatoes
Chocolate
Tea (Green and Black)
Tomatoes
Peppers
Cauliflower

It sets a flawed narrative.

Too much of anything makes can make you sick.
