Sidenote: I really think this should be ft3 not ft2. Primarily for lag issues I won't go into detail but there should be a match between the two players to checkout how the lag feels on both ends. If all lower matches before finals are also FT3, then what does Finals become? It also lengthens the tourney, which may be even more of an issue once more people join. You also just brought up the recording issue that that could bring on as well, as a set that goes the full distance could b pushing close on that 15-minute PS4 recording limit. On one part of it, I'm fine with it, but at the same time, those are pretty much the standard match settings for tourneys, FT2 with FT3 for finals only.

Yeah I think I'm with you, and just leave it FT2 for now. @iLLusoYuN_Da_Adidas_King 's point was fair but at the end of the day it's easier to run FT2 and there isn't thousands of dollars on the line or anything.

Right. I get that and can even say that his point about lag testing round is valid or something like that being fine. That can be something agreed upon by both participants before any real recording starts even, akin to a button test round, you can call it a lag test round/match. Once both parties agree that they're cool with moving forward, than do so. Thing about all that is, it has to be CRYSTAL clear across the board when actual matches begin, as we don't want any bullshytting between either party about "which rounds/matches counted" or didn't and whatnot. If you wanna do warm up rounds, lag tests, shyts n giggles matches or whatever prior to the real sets, I suppose that's all fine and well, just depending on if both parties agree to it. Just that that could also still lend into the latter shenanigans rearing their heads too.
As a suggestion, perhaps if a warm up/lag test round/match/es/etc. is agreed upon prior, both parties could state that in PMs that that's what it's about and then, make a new room once that's over with so that the counter is reset back to 0 for everyone and state that it's truly prime time and also PM with both peeps agreeing that the real set is now on, so that if any integrity issues come into question, there's receipts on deck. Just a thought.

HIs karins ability to hit me before my blockstrings even begin is the reason I lost. no excuses though he gave me so many oppurtunities to win but my punishes got stuffed. Its my bad the rest of the tourney Im lag testing and iLL be seeing @Khalil_4real in the losers bracket shortly.
Also brehs who complain about videotapin the match
hold the share button as soon as the match starts and it automatically records. Not seeing the issue as soon a s the series is over you should goto to upload the match your match will be there in full end of story. Unless you're on Pc, in which case Imnot familiar. Appreciating brehs getting their matches done, Im entertained. Ggs to thecoli

The lag check pre-match is a good idea, we can use it as a standard for future tourneys/ seasons.

Well, in the case of you, at times, your lag does be teleporting all over the place, lol. You did say you're on a wi-fi connection...
, so that definitely can explain things. Granted, I wouldn't say it's 100% of the time. It just spikes in some cases. You got roommates on your connect too? You really should opt for a wired set up if you playing any sort of competitive game online, especially fighters tho.be back in a bit
