This isn’t my point. He is on Colbert here, respected guy all over the U.S,with an audience of millions from all over the world. Rich, poor, Black, White, Chinese etc etc.
You don’t come on here and brag. This is as bad for the culture as mumble rap.
He isn’t a talented rapper or musician that can back up bragging with an art form. He has become a good business man yes - but overall he was very fortune that he was given In Da Club by Dr Dre. That beat would have turned anybody into a best selling artist. He wouldn’t have had the capital for any of his ventures without the true platform that song gave him.
Forget the rest of his songs like How a To Rob and the old mixtapes. He would be Fabolous status without that track at this point. i.e known, and respected with a cool catalogue but no talk show guest.
If you are fortunate to come on Colbert - Talk about current affairs. politics, projects, and be humble like every other guest in history.
