Funny thing is that Shorts is from Cleveland too. He went to Collinwood.

They'd literally have an all-Ohio 1-2-3 receiving core in Shorts-Hartline-Hawkins. (Mt. Union,OSU, Toledo)

:kang:

They need to draft a big receiver and TE.
jalen strong at 19?:lupe:

Farmer historically doesn't value WRs that highly so I doubt they take one in the first.
but we really dont have that many pressing needs like in the past. we need a d-linemen and maybe a olb so I wouldn't be mad if we went straight defense in the first round. but you gotta think we'll also get a guy in free agency.

were not taking a qb in the first, tight end, offensive linemen, corner, safety, or ilb,

one of our weaknesses is wide receiver plus a lack of height if someone like that is sitting there farmer would be stupid not to take him. regardless of his philosophy:manny:

They need overall offensive live depth. They would do that in the first round if a guy they like is there.

Mack went down last year and the entire running/passing game went to shyt.

They need pass rushing and run stoppers.

Needing to control the line of scrimmage will trump getting a wide reciever.

yeah but using a first rounder for depth?:francis:

we were a top five oline when healthy and bitonio was a second round pick, farmer should be able to find a guy in the 2-6 rounds.
like I said I'll be fine if we go all defense in the first round but wide receiver is a need too.

I'm not debating it being a need im just looking at what the GM values.

The right side of the line could use some upgrading.

Mack is unrestricted next off season. They may want to bring his replacement in now so he gets used to the system.

Browns having the best off-season since the return. Trust me. All about getting a top 3 pick in 2016

I have a feeling we are going need that #1 pick to get who we want
Either Cardale or Cook gets the job done. I also like Goff outta Cal.... if all three come out, they could go 1-3. Plus Hackenburg is also an option if you get in the latter part of the top 10.

I would avoid Hackenburg. Cook is enticing. I just have a feeling Cardale is going to light everyone up next season. Hes got the arm, the quickness, the size, and the patience. He gets all the first team reps he will just get better and better as the season progresses. I could see OSU back to back champs and he, with elliot, will be huge reasons why.

Skrine isn't worth that much IMO.

Desir and K'Waun are waiting in the wings. Gilbert should show more next year.

Skrine is replaceable. If there was any group that could afford to lose one it was the corners.
I agree with this
