Its crazy how Marvel and DC switched places as far as tone/family friendliness

Strictly talking the 90's/early 00's cartoon shows, DC was always darker and more violent than Marvel. The censorship was ridiculous for shows like Spiderman and X-Men whereas blood and people getting killed was regularly shown on Batman and Superman
