I just paid for something in cash 20 mins ago. And yesterday.
I dont mind cash, I use it to buy food and small things under $20.
Always need to have some emergency money, especially if your card gets hacked and you have to wait for them to send you a new one.
Keep $200 emergency in the crib just in case.
But I'm an old soul tho :manny:

That being said it’s going to be hard on homeless bums asking for money
“Hey can you spare a $1” :wtf:
“Cash doesn’t exist anymore” :mindblown:
“Hit me on my cashapp!”:smugbiden:

“how do you afford a cellphone bill?” :dahell:

Bro no lie this exact scenario happened to me a couple months ago when I was walking into the grocery store.
Muafukka said I could cashapp him I shook my head and bounced

It's pretty intentional that everything is going digital so that they can eventually shut you out of everything when you don't comply... sort of like how on Steam if you do something they don't like, they can shut down your account and you lose all of your games. They make the path to dictatorship pleasurable. I use credit/debit cards for a lot, but in some instances there's a lot less worry with cash since you don't have to worry about a number getting stolen and people running up your card. The benefit and the downside of credit/debit cards are the records they create. You have proof of a transaction occurring but you also give up a lot of information about your purchasing habits.

Yeah, went to the barbershop a few weeks ago and my barber was like just Zelle or Cashapp me.

I'm like :ohhh:

So now basically about 99% of my transactions are cashless

Just realised today that I haven’t used a cash machine in almost a year nor have I paid for an item using cash in a long time. I’ve got 20 bucks in my wallet that has been there for a long time and I’m not even sure when I’ll use it or if it’ll ever be used.

I pay for everything with my iPhone and after getting an Apple Watch, it’s made it even easier to pay for things without getting my phone out.

The only reason I still remember my PIN number is because it’s the same number I use for my iPhone unlock :mjlol:

anyone else going completely cashless?

10 years late.
Those usher bucks would have got me.
