Bizzy bone was really going to assassinate eazys wife :skip:
speaking of which, for whatever reason i feel like Bizzy Bone is just gonna end up dead randomly within the next 5 years.

And when he does, watch him become legendary on his own when people start going over all of his work. I'm not even a follower of his music like that, but i know the dude should be at that level already. He won't reach it until he dies tho.

I just finished listening to the hilariously classic Bizzy Bone interview from '07 for the first time in years, and he's talkin about how he was sleeping at bus stations, shelters, just going from city to city. :what:

These dudes have sold 40MM+ records in the US as a group alone (excluding compilations & solos), and this is back in the 90s when it was all tapes & CDs...the real money.

It's sad how they got played outta their publishing & everything else since they signed so young & all. And yea we've seen this a lot over time...but FORTY MILLION PLUS RECORDS in the US alooooooooone. :snoop:

This interview will never get old:

oh na...no doubt Bizzy is a different case on his own, but Heller & Tomica Wright took it all from these poor dudes, albeit legally.

Which makes me wonder, despite Eazy supposedly being great to Bone & everything, i'd imagine everything Tomica got off of Bone Thugs/Ruthless Records was because Eazy was swindling Bone just as much...right?

That relationship would've soured eventually over money, i would say.

yea, i think bone wouldve ended up beefing with eazy once they smartened up.

but something tells me that eazy wouldve came outta pocket, not paying them what they owe, but enough to keep them happy. duke, couldnt afford another scandal.

I can't say EVERY member is straight, but I know that Wish, Layzie, and the basic members, besides Bizzy stay touring, and seem to be doing fine financially, as well as rap stars from yesteryear are expected to be. However, yeah, they made enough to set up multiple generations of family with trusts and property, and I'm doubtful that's the case now.

That aint shyt bro. I'd be tight as fukk making only a couple thousand a show knowing my group's music generated close to half a billion dollars :pachaha:

Nah, it's not right. But, remember where these guys come from, doubt they look at like that. More like gratitude they can do what they love, and provide for themselves and family. At least you would hope they wouldn't be consumed by bitterness and regret. I met Wish, and he seemed to be straight, aged, but, dude had a roll of hundreds, in a nice hotel suite (paid for by the club that booked him) and a bunch of bytches, he wasn't mad about anything. Said San Diego/Westcoast is like their second home, and they are here all the time.

As crazy as Bizzy seems you always have to respect him more for wanting to hold out for more money... He was the ice cube in NWA out of the group. "190 thousand, I guess platinum don't pay.... Can I please have some more money?" He knew shyt was fukked up and always spoke his mind in interviews when Layzie tried to portray things being all good. Bizzy wanted to go to war with the label and Layzie just wanted to keep Bone's name alive. As fans we owe Layzie respect for never closing Bizzy off. He always kept the door open on group albums and Bone Brother collabo's. A lot of people don't know that Bizzy has like 12 solo albums and that was definitely a ruff patch for fans too. With each album recorded in maybe a weeks time, who knew which Bizzy we would get but he always knows how to turn it up and rip it when he needs too. He was doing albums for like 30K and getting none of the profits. Hell we all paid him 5K to do that one album for the bone board and got our name in the cd booklet. You can check Dave's Bone Wall on youtube to see my collection but at the end of the day all we can do is be glad their still making noise.

I think people forget that they also spent a lot of money. Sure they got fukked and so did TLC but you are talking about people who were living in mansions and driving nice cars only to see the money dry up really fast and have nothing to show for it.
