Yeah, yesterday, Friday, it was pretty rough out with the snow, but also the temps being in the 20s and the wind chill being in the teens made it worse, and I was out there getting caught up. The schools were open for a lot of kids, but during my commute, coming home, it didn't seem like many went yesterday.
Winter surprisingly came earlier this year in Syracuse. Since 2021, when we had that big snow
storm and below-20+ temperatures that swept through Buffalo and parts of Upstate New York, winter had been pretty dismal in 2022 and 2023.
Last year around this time, I was still wearing windbreakers with layers and boots, but ever since this past Monday, we've had snow and chilly temps. Last Sunday, I had to bust my winter jackets out of the closet because I knew the temperatures this week were going to be very cold, but I didn't think it was going to snow as it did; luckily, I was prepared.
