For context and transparency though..... just know the guy who responded first to you and you dapped pretty much hates or at minimum shyts on EVERYTHING AEW does regardless of what they do:ld:

AEW debuted roughly fresh new talent that the masses and casual have truly never seen before. So the live crowd was genuinely didn’t know and was puzzled.:ehh:

TNA debuted arguably one of the (at the time) too 10 all time UFC legends who one time was one of the faces of not just UFC but MMA who was married to at the time the number one porn star in the business so everyone knew who he was and if I recall he was actually in a feud with Rampage in Bellatar as well for an upcoming fight...... but as recognizable and popular as he was..... the crowd just didn’t care:mjgrin:

No spin, just facts:sas1:

Look.... I will concede that you can and should mainly do “pop up surprise” debuts to “known, popular, recognizable” talent. Like say a CM Punk, Rock, Goldberg, hell Marty probably don’t need vignettes and can just pop up.

Like I remember a small few tried to diss the Jack Swagger/Jake Hager debut. But guess what? Everyone knows who that is and dont need context, a story or a vignette.

No one knows these other guys.... hence why we still referring to them vaguely or by their AEW debuted names.

I can commend them for maybe trynna respectfully treat them like big timers, but these guys are too new and fresh (no WWE sabotage stench, no dark days TNA attachments) for that and probably could’ve used a teaser.:yeshrug:
