I was coming from Kaituer Guyanese restaurant in Queens the night I heard he died. Coouldnt enjoy my Guyanese style house special fried rice after that.

Crazy to think he's been gone 25 years...yet only lived 25 years.

Always wonder what his impact would have been AND how he would be viewed if he had somehow lived. Feel like he was an actor at heart and would have been something like Jamie Foxx...showing off his range and talent.

Biggie would have basically been Jay Z before Jay Z from a business standpoint (I think).

I was in 5th grade. Seemed like every black TV show had a "Stop the Violence" episode right around this time.

Even crazier is that in a 3-year span from '94 to '97, we lost Pac, Biggie, Eazy E, Selena and Kurt Cobain.

All very popular and still gaining fans/acclaim. Not even sure what the modern equivalent of that is like.
