i think this is one of those albums where you try to convince yourself every year to give it another chance, and end up mad as f*ck that it's disappointing as the last time you heard it. Sorta like going back to that ex thinking she'll change for the better then come out mad cuz she's that same ol sl*t duping you again :russ:

You know what's even crazier now thinking back on it? Both Tha Doggfather and The 7 Day Theory were the end of an era. Death Row would go on to put out the Gang Related and Gridlock'd soundtracks but Tha Doggfather and The 7 Day Theory were really the last official studio albums by solo artists of Death Row's heyday

Wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. I'd say this the last relatively good product that Death Row put out.

Loved Gold Rush and Blueberry, had a few good cuts but pretty disappointing in the end, Death Row n Snoop should have put more timen effort into this album

this album is a perfect example of what Dre does. all the c*nts who produced on this album claim to have ghost produced for Dre at some point or another but look what what they created without him. Would Dre & Snoop have matched the success and classic status of Doggystyle? probably not but if he had Dre keeping his head in the game, maybe Snoop would have been sharper on the mic. when you listen to what Dre was making around that time you're looking at Keep Their Heads Ringin, NBK, California Love, etc so the beats still would have been incredible.
