They had politicians host before, Jesse Jackson hosted in the 80's, and John Mccain hosted too... Idk why SNL always tries it with political figures to make them seem more down to earth by them showing how funny they can be when reading written material when most cant even deliver. It works every once in a blue moon.
  • Fey &Palin
  • Ferrell &. W.
  • Armisen & Obama
  • Hammond & Clinton (who STILL makes a number of appearances as him years later after Bill left office)
Snl is a television darling...it'd prolly be after Lorne passes or leaves and the quality gets really shytty for SNL to end if it doesnt send on Lorne's say so. I heard they were trying to stop Trump's SNL yesterday too, I doubt it happens, I wanna see Sia tho.

Who watches snl? :scust:
a lot of people here do. when SNL was showing their entire series marathon that thread did great numbers & when they did their 40 th anniversary special during All star weekend, that thread did big numbers too. SNL isnt too good rught now, that i can say but they have shytty writers and their cast isnt too great( too many white people)

SNL not going anywhere and yeah it's obvious what they're doing but SNL has always been a 'strike while the iron is hot' kinda show :francis:
They probably do need a change in actors tho because their rough patches are :bryan:. I still remember when Eddie Murphy literally saved the show in the '80's :whew:

What did he say now?
Cracked.com podcast (Rise of White Supremacy ep.) basically revealed (by his intention or not) dude's talking points are dog whistles to actual white supremacists.

And also how the rise(?) of a crazy leader and economic downturn, in America, mirrors post WWI Germany :snoop:.

I didn't realize the knockout game was the creation of a white supremacists. :smh:

Say what you want about Donald Trump hosting Saturday Night Live because at least one good thing came from last night’s controversial episode—this “Hotline Bling” parody. Since the release of the original video, a number of remakes poking fun at Drake’s dance moves exploded all over the Internet. From "Bernie Sanders" imitating his moves to a gospel choir performing their own version of the song to a website turning it into a disco, we’ve seen it all…or so we thought.

In a video uploaded to YouTube, comedian Jay Pharoah steps into the rapper’s grandpa sweater-wearing, dad dancing shoes to remind everyone that there are no limits to how many times the video can be parodied. Check the above video and, for Pete’s sake, don’t ever stop making fun of those meme-worthy moves.
