You have to put Harden there too, guy said he spent hours learning how Kobe attacks
Harden is a tricky situation. The issue is you gotta have some sort of trait from Kobe in order to claim kinship. I guess his crafty way of drawing fouls is enough to give him Family Friend status. It's worth a debate at the very least, I couldn't give him nephew status he don't got the vast array of moves down or the psychotic mentality of the one shooting gawd. I need a senior stan from Texas like
@houston911 to chime in on this.
Plus Booker only 20
I think Kyie Bryant, Kawhi, and Giannis got next but Booker seems like he's adopted his NBA fathers mentality.
PG time seems to be passing slowly (injury fukked that up), Russ got the mentality but not the skill imo, Wggins got the tools and the fro but i dont know.. Not the mentality and same for Derozan
That's the thing, at only 20 Booker just showed himself to be a potential son. Giannis is young like Booker so he's got a lot further to go, Kyrie F. is an established son of Kobe and Kawhi is on the verge of ascending as well. Honestly out of all the kids Kawhi has the most potential to be the best player in the league right now.
Don't sleep on DeRozen breh, he's been studying intensely and it's clear him and his dad have had some bonding time. Some of the moves I saw him hit the other night were moves I ain't seen since Kobe was in the league. If you get a chance you really should watch him play. He hits a lot of the moves, he comes into the 4th with 6-7 minutes left and proceeds to jack shots non-stop. He's one of the more intriguing talents in that he REALLY does want to be like Kobe. If Toronto were to upset the Cavs thanks to DeRozen's improved play he might get upgraded to second son.
@Broke Wave or
@CantStop can vouch for this one being in Toronto and all.
Russ just has mamba blood so he's related, he carries that same irrational belief that he's better than everyone that ever played. His shot selection, his fukk you mentality, his intensity, those things make him a permanent nephew but he'll never elevate to son because he's more interested in being Russell Westbrook which is cool. He'll just never have the skills or be a winner like his uncle Kobe.
As for George, he's is a lower tier friend of the family, at best, because he's always been a pretender out here. Same with Wiggins.
True.
Andrew Wiggins has a Michael Jordan skillset to go with a Scottie Pippen mindset.
Its embarrassing that he's perfectly fine being a sidekick to an inferior talent like Towns. Dude is beta as fukk.
Totally lacks the Mamba mindset.
Wiggins isn't ready for nephew status, he might never get to that level honestly. Needs to spend more family time with dad in the offseason. I just don't think he built for this shyt personally. He'll prolly end up in that Paul George bracket of low-tier friend of the family.
