why do people keep throwing around steve nash's name?

the heats pg play is not a big problem. chalmers is a solid pg (for the heat) and wade and bron are both good distributors.

the heat need a big man in the worst way. that should be the first thing on the priority list. :usure:

Could local star be feeling the Heat?
15.9 pts 10.3 reb 1.4 Ast 2.6 blks 57% FG

Norfolk State basketball star Kyle O'Quinn has spent the past couple of months flying around the country, working out privately for 14 NBA teams and attending three group combines. All in preparation for next week's NBA draft.

During his senior year, O'Quinn was largely off the radar. But his big performance in Norfolk State's stunning March Madness upset of Missouri changed all that. Now he has leaped into the draft discussion and climbed steadily up the ladders of the mock drafts.

So much so that one prominent blog has him going in the first round to the Miami Heat, who are currently one win away from winning the championship. Could O'Quinn be teammates next year with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade? We shall see.

Chalmers / Cole
Wade / Allen
LeBron / Battier
Bosh / Haslem
Camby / Bosh

if that's the main rotation players next year, I'm good

Camby said he wants to stay with houston i think he got a spot there. It seems FA's only mention the heat to jack up their price. Lets hope Bron takes Pittman with him to see the dream and sign ray allen

My brother's keeper
I saw the write up on O'Quinn from DExpress and liked what it said, but never saw him play

just found this clip from his PIT run

The rebounding is the biggest thing from his stats

I want Nash because he'll make it easier for Lebron and Wade thus keeping them fresh.

Sure C is our big glaring weakess but there aren't a whole lot of affordable options out there to be had. Nash could take the minimum to win a championship. But I think OKC will go after Nash too.

Also, Bosh would beast with Nash on our roster. Notice how Lebron got better when the ball is not in his hands all the time. He admitted himself that he learned to play WITHOUT the ball. Imagine a team having to deal both Wade and Lebron roaming around without the ball

Why would we want Camby at this point in his career? I wish the Heat would try and get some young players instead of all these washed up vets. These veterans can't play heavy minutes and are more injury prone.

Rotten Apple
The Heat do not need Nash. They need an athletic swingman defender and they need a Young Big in the worst way as everyone knows. They need to get younger and bigger. Riley has to get on his grizzle and draft a guy that can crack the rotation and play meaningful minutes and stop with all the washed up retreads.
