i see what you're saying and probably makes a shytload of sense but i think Nash will be more willing to sign somewhere thats contending and he can play a major role in the starting lineup.

if Nash is out of the question, I would like George Hill. he's young, athletic, and defensive minded. would be a nice option to have when playing Drose, westbrook, irving, etc
figure as much, I could see Nash in New York with carmelo and Amare, and that makes me a little worried

i can see that. you probably have to give up a pick and someone like Shane Battier. but here's the problem, Hill started towards the end of the season. will he be willing take that cut in PT.
and what do you do with Norris Cole? dude showed flashes in the seasona and came on strong in the last two games.
only thing about George Hill is, do you rent him? or do you get him to sign a new contract at the end of next season?

Hill is a free agent. As for Norris, he still has to prove he's ready. He played great in the finals, but except for maybe the 20 games of the season he fell off big time. I still believe he can be good for us, but he has improve his finishing at the rim and his shooting.

For our PG position, it's either Chauncey Billups or bust. I'm surprised noone mentioned him yet. I don't even have to list the ways it makes sense for us, he'd be perfect. Odom would also be great.
