Like bruh. How could a veteran literally explain it to you directly how the shyt was gonna go, but you still fell through the pitfalls?!
Young people see good advice as hating or they think that they’re the exception to the rule. We’ve seen this so many times where somebody warns a young rapper about what’s going to happen to them, and they don’t listen.
I always think of a Nav interview where he said that he thought Cash, the co-founder of XO, was jealous when he would tell him to stop spending so much. And that it wasn’t until he got older that he realized that Cash was looking out for him and trying to save him from going broke.
