He almost sabotaged that Rocket series :unimpressed:
I still don't get that angle. IMO the offense wasn't working early in that series with all the switching that Houston was doing. A lot of their normal options weren't generating the openings they normally did so KD would iso more to counter it. It actually reminded me a lot of this Boston series where Steph just had to say fukk it and go for his.

steph put up 43 in G4, but it wasnt off isolation. He was constantly moving, cutting, driving or shooting in transition

playing in ISO played in Houstons hands, and the same would happen with Boston

I was listening to a Twitter spaces earlier today, and apparently KD wants to come back to the warriors (insider information or whatever). People on the Spaces who were IN FAVOR of KD coming back were saying they have to ship outthe young guys and poole, and that narratives no longer matter and that they want the Warriors to break the league again. Those who were AGAINST KD coming back were saying that dubs fans begged him not to leave in the first place and he still did, liked tweets saying Steph was trash and needed KD, bullshytted about Steph taking all off the defensive attention in the finals, he's older now and has missed significant time since coming back from the Achilles injury, and he would prolly become disillusioned with the system again and not buy in.

In addition, the host of the Twitter Spaces said that KD is on a burner and is checking the temperature of the spaces (checking to see the feedback from the listeners on whether they want him back or not). The host also said that Steph is OK with KD coming back (how he knows that Steph is OK with this is anyone's guess, bc when someone calls him out on it, he tells that person to bet $40,000 and he'll prove it, which is a wild ass thing to even put up just for verification).

Where are y'all on this? Do y'all want KD back? Personally, I'm tired of this. This is some soap opera, Ross and Rachel from Friends shyt. Dude left because he wanted his own team, and now wants to come back bc he sees the Warriors are back to being a success now he wants to come back after shading the team for the past few years. Now the nikka is allegedly logging into twitter Spaces on burner accounts listening if the warriors fans want him back. Like nikka, what are we doing? shyt is just childish. You wanted Brooklyn, and even insisted that our pick 2020 pick would have to be forfeited if we still somehow managed to be decent. You wanted Kyrie's annoying ass, make it work.
This is just much ado about nothing. KD is not coming back so there’s no reason to even spend an ounce of energy thinking about it. As someone said KD got too much pride to come back and I don’t think the FO wants to mortgage their future for him either. I think they’re also pretty happy with how all the team personalities mesh together right now and don’t want to fukk it up by bringing back a moody KD.

Mock draft websites are mostly nonsense.
Still, I enjoy going back to read what they've written to see how things panned out.

Here's some comments from mock drafts on NBA Draft Room:

A well built SG prospect who shows flashes. Could’ve used another year in school.

They had Jordan Poole ranked 80th on their board (Golden State took him 28th overall)

Nicknamed the “Dancing Bear” due to his bulk, strength and quick feet. Not a prototypical basketball player, looks like an offensive lineman, but plays the game like a heady point guard and has good ball skills. A very good passer who understands all the nuances of the game and has the versatility to guard the post or run the fast break. A good rebounder and help defender who only lacks a consistant outside jumper.

They had Draymond Green ranked 32nd on their board (Golden State took him 35th overall)

Well built shooting guard with a lightening quick jumper with range to NBA 3. Does not have elite quickness but has good bounce and can get into the lane or to the rim off the dribble.

They had Klay Thompson ranked 13th on their board (Golden State took him 11th overall)
