Ran pick and roll in the 3rd and got every matchup they wanted, shyt isn't rocket science
Celtics will make adjustments though, I'd expect them to trap hard on Steph in Pick and Roll situations next game. This is where Dray's decision making and Klay's shooting will be important.

Uncertain grounds
How do you see the Celtics countering the change in defensive pressure that the Warriors applied? The typical change would be to punish them down low but I don't think Boston has the personnel to do that consistently

Celtics bigs have no back to the basket game whatsoever

If they pound the paint itll have to be off drive and dishes. Unfortunately Tatum and Brown turn the ball over a lot in the paint.

What I have noticed is that the bigs are a little too tightly packed in there leading to added congestion. If they were smart theyd have Williams and/or Horford play a little further out on an angle about a foot or two off the box to increase space then move in when their defender leaves to help rather than already be in that position standing there

It's gonna be on Tatum and Jaylen to start getting to the hole, forcing the officials to make a call. Warriors definitely got a favorable whistle in this game, and I expect it to go the other way in Game 3.

It really isn’t.. just wish Kerr stop being cute and keep it simple
It isn't as simple as just running PnR all the time. They need to give different players different looks to get going - someone like Klay needs off-ball actions to get himself going and so does Wiggins. Everyone feeds off the ball movement, and running PnR too much can minimize that. There was nothing wrong with the looks they were getting in the first half, they just were missing basic shyt.

How many open shots did Wiggins, Poole and Klay miss in the first half? Open being the operative word here.

That's on the players - not Kerr.
