Manpreet you the same bytch that said Harford is not going to be a factor, right you goofy Rat Worshipping bytch
Leaving him open doesn't equate to needing to lock him down. He just needs to be defended in a regular manner. Out of all the players that need to be locked down in this series, Horford would be near the end of the list.

You get that simple shyt, nxgga?

Horford's main strengths aren't putting the ball in the hoop - they're on the other end of the floor. That's where the Warriors need to reduce his effectiveness. Again, you'd know something as simple as this if your 5'2" Tony Cox looking ass actually paid attention to the rest of the league instead of wrapping yourself in homerism.

Kerr: Wiggins is an incredible athlete. he doesnt ever seem to get tired
Kerr: *plays him 34 minutes*

Kerr: steph is such a conditioned athlete. i dont think anyone in the league is in as good of shape as he is
Kerr: *plays him 30 minutes*

I'm pretty sure this kinda thing is what they were killing Coach Bud for in the bubble.
Steph played 38 minutes in Game 1, and as I said earlier, Wiggins would've played 37 minutes had he come into the game when they went to check him in (it was only because of an extensive period of play where there weren't any stoppages as to why he didn't). We really arguing about some absolute trivial and nonsensical shyt about minutes when the Warriors' starters still ended up playing more minutes than the Celtics' starters? Are we really doing that?

The Warriors didn't lose because Steph and Wiggins didn't play more minutes. They lost because the Celtics shot 21-41 from behind the arc. They were the better team on the night - it's as simple as that. Their entire rotation came to perform and the Warriors didn't. Trying to place blame on whatever minutes you think Steph and Wiggins should've got doesn't even register on the reasons why they lost.

Kerr can't keep starting Looney and Green together. OPJ has to get swapped into the starting lineup. They can't afford to have two non-threats out there at the same time against Boston.
But you see, Otto and Looney are both going to play the same amount of minutes they're designated to whether they start or come off the bench. Putting Otto in the starting lineup isn't going to have him playing minutes in the high 30s. He's only just come back from injury, and he's been managed all season because of his health. Playing more minutes than his body can physically handle is dangerous, and they can't afford for him to be out given their lack of options. Bringing him off the bench actually provides a greater balance to keep offensive continuity. They need that whenever Steph comes off the floor.

The Warriors are likely always going to have some deficit on the court, whether that be having two non-shooters or two subpar defenders. They don't have a balanced roster like the Celtics do. Funnily enough, the most successful lineups they had out there were ones that involved Draymond and Looney, so this constant obsession of yours not to have Looney in the starting lineup doesn't make one bit of sense.

This is telling -

This tells us that the Warriors starting lineup was what got them in a position to win, and it was the other lineups where it fell apart. Simply put - the Warriors starting Looney and Draymond together wasn't the reason why they lost.

And this is the reason why your dumbass needs to stay in your own lane and be the waterboy.

Nobody said Horford isn't one of the main reasons where the Celtics are in the Finals, you simple ass nxgga. This is about needing to lock him down which the Warriors do NOT need to do. Horford's main strengths are everywhere else. He's essentially the Draymond of his team. Out of all the scoring options they have, he's the one that's down the list of priorities. That doesn't mean they should be leaving him open (he can make his open shots), all that means he needs to be treated with some respect. His effectiveness is largely what he can do at the other end of the floor, and that's where the Warriors need to figure out how to combat that.

Again, this is something that you'd understand if you actually bothered to watch other teams play instead of just your own.

Look at this Waldo Faldo ass nxgga. Bu-bu-but the Warriors coaches will disagree with you.

Most of that was in the first quarter when Steph was on fire.

Kerr benched him in the Memphis series so even he's agreed with me in the past. They could always dust off Kuminga and Moody. Those are athletes that can keep up with Boston and have produced when given minutes.

Looney should be benched when he's needed to, that goes with every other role player. There's going to be instances where it is beneficial to leave him on the bench, but that's hardly in tune with what you're stating.

The fact remains, Looney and Draymond starting together wasn't the reason they lost. It was almost all the other lineups that allowed the Celtics to take control of the game and run away with the contest. If Kuminga and Moody are going to be of any use in this series, it isn't going to be with them starting, it's going to come throughout brief periods where they can give the team energy, different looks and matchup with the Celtics' smaller lineups. Or do you seem to think they should combat both Robert Williams III and Horford by going smaller?

Horford killed them from the perimeter. Porter and/or Kuminga can match up with him.

looney created ample possessions
he did his job to be honest

i respect Green for taking open shots but he needs to put in some serious practice sessions over the next two days to keep the celtics honest and hit some of them. Otherwise itll be a tough series for us

ppl wanna rave about bostons D and its certainly great but a literally divine 4th quarter where white and horford wouldnt miss is why they won. the team that stopped making open outside shots first lost ultimately

looney was excellent last night. he rebounded and defended well

the issue is draymond not trying on defense, the one thing he's supposed to be great at

Here’s the video of those threes. Let’s pretend he truly believed those players weren’t good three point shooters. It’s wild that he never made the adjustment to guard them tighter after they were clearly in rhythm and killing us.

dear god. Horford shooting damn near 50% on threes in the playoffs and this dude is letting him shoot. He can't make fun of Rudy Gobert all the time and then defend like this. dude out here playing drop on 46% 3pt shooters smh

again, outside of denver, he's been shyt. it was an issue last series. dude won't go out on the perimeter

Overall, i think the series is salvageable. it's one game. If Draymond can adjust, and Kerr doesn't play iguodala/dray at the same time, maybe it can work out. a lot of other "ifs" too, like klay not being trash

dark butts
but they weren't wide open, go look at the shots they were hitting.
another random 40pt quarter smh. you used to need all time great players to score like that in a quarter. Now all you need is Al Horford, Marcus Smart and some whack dude named White

? you cant be serious.

JB first shot he created enough space for that to be open.

JB pullup over Poole. Poole is a cone. That's open.

Rob Williams lob is open.

JB gets a wide open corner 3.

Pritchard gets wide open corner 3.

Derrick White wide open 3.

Derrick White super contested 3.

Al Horford open 3.

Al Horford open middie.

Smart wide open 3.

Warriors defense looking flabby N sick !
