Brehs in this thread were legitimately shytting on the Kuminga pick. :snoop:
Cant wait until he gets more playing time I hope this fanbase realized we were BLESSED to have him fall to us at 7.
i aint like the pick. all i heard was that dude was extremely raw. couple that with wiseman and we had 2 projects. idea turned me off.

he doesnt seem to be as raw as the scouting reports said.

Dudes were in here crying that you couldn't win with young guys on the team. People were calling for Marcus Smart, Myles Turner, Eric Gordon, etc for our young players :picard:

Lets not forget the Ben Simmons trade request some of ya floated :mjlol:

The "young guys" haven't contributed anything to winning yet. Y'all nxggas need to slow your roll; we'll see what these "young guys" do in the playoffs when the team is struggling to win. Nevermind the fact that the #2 pick that y'all swore was going to be the next great big man hasn't done shyt, and was holding the team back last season. GS has literally had the highest win percentage in the league ever since Wiseman went down last year.

p.s. Myles Turner would turn this team into a contender.

Again, Simmons turns this team into a contender. It seems to me you don't pay attention to the rest of the league.

Let's not forget your take about Eric Paschall being an integral part of this squad and set to be a star. You have a habit of overrating the "young guys" this team drafts.

To be fair, you believed Deni Avdija was a top rookie and the Warriors should have picked him at 2 :mjlol:

Your commitment to calling Wiseman a bust when he's only played 39 games :dead: in a rookie season interrupted by injuries and covid. The take is not going to age well.

You riding for Simmons makes no sense with Draymond on the roster.

Deni > Wiseman.

He's been one of the best players on a team that's currently leading the East, doing all the things that I said this Warriors team needed.

:manny:

And I specifically said they should trade the pick to acquire vet depth, and if that wasn't an option, then trade down to grab Deni along with another first round pick, or a player of his type. Again, this was all about players who fit the identity of this team, and Deni was merely an example of that. But dumb-asses like you believe garbage players like Paschall had All-Star talent.

Your theory was wrong. You wanted Smart for defense or Deni + a vet

GPII is.a better defender than Smart at this point
Nemanja plays the role you envisioned for Deni
+ we got Iggy and Otto for vet presence

The holes you were trying to fill got solved without giving away any assets/promising young players. That's why you're wrong

It's not about him being a bust or not.

It's clearly the wrong pick for this team. There's a reason why they're reducing his role when he does come back, and have specifically said he won't be ready to do anything notable until next season. It'll be three years before he'll be "ready", meanwhile, that's wasted years of Steph, Dray and Klay. If you can't see that Wiseman ain't it after 40 games, perhaps hoops isn't for you. If you're using the same measurements you did for projecting Paschall to being an All-Star, well, we all know how this story will end.
You riding for Simmons makes no sense with Draymond on the roster.
Simmons and Draymond would be the best defensive and playmaking duo in the league. The fact you can't see something as simple as this leads me to believe you only watch Warriors games, and yet you still don't know what you're watching.
Myles Turner :mjlol:
Turner is one of the best rim-protectors; he leads the league in blocks at 3.2 per game. He's shooting 44% from behind the arc. He's literally the perfect 5 for this team. He protects the paint and shoots the three-ball at an elite level for a big man.

Please, for your own sake, stop embarrassing yourself.

Bjeli can't play defense, whereas Deni's already one of the best young defenders in the league. He's a decent playmaker and versatile defender.

How the fukk can my theory be wrong when Wiseman not only hasn't contributed anything but was holding the team back last season?

Literally any other option other than picking Wiseman would've benefited the Warriors. It doesn't matter if it was Deni + another first-round player, or Smart and more vet depth, or Turner, or any other combination. Anything would've been better than Wiseman.

Keep telling us how Paschall is going to be an All-Star and how the Warriors shouldn't have traded him.

@Gil Scott-Heroin If you're confident Deni > Wise. Ban bet me (permanent ban).

At the end of the season whoever this thread thinks is the better player wins. If Wiseman is as bad as you say :yeshrug:should be an easy bet right?
