They've been incredibly lucky. They could easily be 0-2 right now, so I don't know if the wins themselves are really indicative of how they're performed. And to be honest, apart from the pieces that have only been added this season, it should be expected the rest of the personnel isn't making all these dumb decisions and/or playing this badly.

It shouldn't take a loss to start taking looking at these performances for what they are.
this

u take a look at the game, and they can blow big leads in minutes. because they look like they have zero chemistry. they dont know where each other is on the court. Passes are frantic and completely miss the player they are intended for a lot of the time.

Again , WE are beating ourselves. If we just cut down on the constant turnovers we would win this more convincingly, but the issue is we make bad passes (Steph and Poole tonight, especially)
The Knicks could have easily lost yesterday, the Hornets could have easily lost yesterday. Luck comes with the territory. Are you guys implying that the Warriors wont improve as the season goes on? You're saying they wont make less mistakes weeks from now? Months from now? This is their final form at game number 2 out of 81?

did the Knicks have 8 turnovers in one quarter? Luck comes with the territory but Charlotte and NY dint turn the ball over every 2 possessions for an entire quarter. They also didn't foul the same damn player every other turn for what seemed like an entire quarter

again, we get in trouble because we keep beating OURSELVES. it's painstakingly clear. These turnovers are gonna bite us in the ass sooner or later

What happened in BOTH our play-in games? Especially the Lakers? We were actually beating a healthy lakers team. And we turned the ball over 9 times in the 3rd quarter, and lost the game.

NOTHING seems to have changed since then

Curry and Poole were the only ones with an excessive amount of turnovers this game. Its on Kerr to make an adjustment because clearly the guard position is causing turnovers in the game plan. Luckily we have 79 more games to figure it out.

When it comes to someone like Wiggins, he's going to be doing the same shyt "months from now". We know what the deal is with him.

The fact it's not been highlighted more is because they won, but it shouldn't be that way. It shouldn't take a loss to start having those conversations. There's a greater sense of urgency to get things figured out sooner rather than later, given the clock is ticking on this core and they've already wasted the last two seasons. The vibe would be completely different if this team was rebuilding and mistakes would be par for the course.

I remember these exact type of conversations with Wiseman last year, when y'all would say, "it's only early, give him time, we've got the whole season ahead", when the writing was on the wall in big block letters. Look at how that ended up. He's not even playing and it'll likely be another season where he's not ready to contribute in a winning manner.

Time isn't on this squad's side.

Bonkers fukking stat right here. Read that first sentence

This is where Simmons would be great. He'd fix a lot of these issues on offense, since Steph is being forced to create a lot, Draymond isn't always the most reliable initiator, and Wiggins shouldn't even have the ball in his hands. It's one of the main reasons that's going to stop this team from being contenders because Steph is essentially the only one that can create.

but Morey's not giving up Simmons for Weedplate and Wiseman. Not for Weedplate+moody+Kuminga either.
