I will never understand that firing. My guess is they thought he was too out of touch for today's music scene and he wanted to hire some younger guys to reflect it, the problem is that today's music is garbage and the themes reflected that. For every one good theme they had there were ten bad ones right behind it.

Nah, there’s good music out there but WWE’s idea of what modern music is, is outdated, Bliss and Murphy (well until recently) having dubstep themes like its 2012 is proof of that. With Johnston though, he wasn’t concerned about what was hot, he was more concerned about how it fit the wrestler that’s why most of Johnston’s themes aren’t outdated.

I just have a problem with the loops the songs are like 40 seconds long. I used to be when the songs play out it felt like a big moment to me. Imagine CM Punk coming to a generic rock loop at MITB 2011.

It’s crazy how he was fired for being out of touch. But Vince himself has been out of touch for 15 years and he refuses to go anywhere.

The story is too random to not have some truth behind it, personally I think that the company is about to go in new direction with everything. I think at the minimum there's been talk of replacing them.

They're generally trash, but they got some hits.
That IIconic's theme slaps and I will always stand by that.
And honestly, the UE theme has gotten the whole team over more than they would have been without it, and Adam Cole without the Boom at this point is midcard NXT talent at best, don't @ me.
