i agree with that. the album started off strong then got kinda eehhh....but I mean yo. Honestly. In comparison to the hot garbage that we're forced to endure now days? come on mann.....but it certainly does prove that production is everything. F&L and The Cool had the best production in my opinion. and yeah..dude needs Gemstones back baaad.

the first 7 or 8 songs were fire and had ya boy like

the second half of the album was up and down, so overall it was alright

edit: matter of fact lookin at the track list again, only hood now and form follows function are the only tracks that i mess with after put em up.

F&L2 was an excellent album... and Friend of the People is still slept on....lupe chose not to compromise his music and message by promoting f******y, molly, violence, disrespecting religion, and wearing animal print clothing....so of course he will appear to a lot of you guys...one of the reasons why subpar artist like French Montana is winning right now because they have no problem promoting the latter....

Got this thing where I pick an artist for a day and just bump their entire discography. Couldn't make it past The Cool. What a waste of a talented artist. I can understand growing with your audience or maturing as an artist but this nikka has went completely off the reservation. He don't fukk with his old production team anymore or something? shyt just seems soulless to me now

oddly enough, I liked Lasers but I can def see how anybody would sh!t on it due to the weird production.

Agreed. Friend of the People and Enemy of the State were both excellent mixtapes. Not on par with Fahrenheit series but still very good.

The only complaint I have about F&L II were some of the bubble gum hooks, particularly in the middle of the album. I skip over that three song stretch from Heart Donor to Battle Scars.
