Its a damn shame Burton didn't get a chance to make his Batman trilogy

I LOVE the tim burton batman films. I remember my grandma got me the 1989 one as a youngin and I watched it every single day when I was a kid, now that shes gone :rip: it reminds me of her.

your story is exactly like mine. my grandmother also brought me the film when i was younger. i remember the first night i watched that film. although, watching the 89 batman doesn't remind me of her, even though she died as well...

Batman 89 and Batman Returns had more of a comic book feel than Nolans first two batman films
what in DKR had a comic book feel?
I actually prefer Burton's films to Nolans because of that
I use to feel that way until I peeped burton's batmans recently and he really just made a toned down version of the 60s series except with a gothic burton spin.He was equally as self indulgent, careless with the source material and characters as nolan was (the other guy doesnt exist)..I cant wait until someone does batman like snyder did watchmen, all these director got to stop trying to put their own shyt on it..

There was very little realism in the Burton batman movies, what's with all this revisionist history. They are classic yes, but def not realistic. They had a weird catoonish gothic borderline stemapunk vibe like most of his flicks. The villians were super over the top in a campy unrealistic way. Burtons's were not as ludacris as Forever and B&R. But still cartoonish.

Nolan's world is completely plausable, even tho Bane took it up a notch.

Batman 89 and Returns are easily more entertaining than TDKR...and slightly more than BB. TDK is the overall best.

Burton's gotham city felt like the Real Gotham city, not that gay club lights looking bullshyt in Forever and B&R, and not Chicago in the Nolan Trilogy

To be fair... Chicago was only used in the Dark Knight....

Batman Begins was like a NY/CGI hybrid and DKR was pure NY w/ a little Pittsburgh
