it is. i thought he was really coming into his style fully on batman returns as far as orienting his style in the batman universe. like the first movie does have that tim burton grit to it in the sense of the colors used throughout the movie but as far as the filming quality and his distortion of reality with everyday objects (like the way objects reflect the light in his film, they have a sheen to them) that really came through with batman returns. it'd be cool to have him revisit batman in total...

Burton didn't want to do sequels to Batman...only reason why he did Batman Returns was cuz the studio made him do it..and the money was right...

Producing is different from directing...plus a darker Batman Forever wouldn't be that bad.

this is what I always thought. burton's batman's were cash cows. if burton wanted to do part 3, they definitely would have green lit that project.
Burton's gotham city felt like the Real Gotham city, not that gay club lights looking bullshyt in Forever and B&R, and not Chicago in the Nolan Trilogy
