You don't see Gza/Wu getting their legacy tarnished because the music they made never went against the cultural norms, Ja's music did and that's why it was so easy for 50 to turn the culture against him. This idea about music quality being at fault and not music type is just blatantly untrue. There is no real evidence to support this notion. Just think about the insults 50 was hurling at Ja, "you're a pop artist like Brittany spears", "you make music for females not the streets", "all you do is sing on record". He's clearly attacking Ja for the TYPE of music he made, I don't see how that can even be disputed.
Btw, no one really criticizes Ja's discography, anytime I ever see his albums bought up in discussion, its usually bought up so someone can make the point how underrated his catalog is. I seriously can't think of an instant where I have seen people looking back on VVV, Pain is Love, or R.U.L.E with disdain or hatred. In some respects, I think VVV is liked more today than it was back then.
