I think by the LSU game the snaps will be 60-40, can'tsee nix carving up good defense.

Nix is not ready as a freshman to beat LSU, Bama, Georgia by himself. He might get to that point someday, but we need both of these QBs this year. Joey probably can't hit some of the passes that Bo can right now.

Nah, most people wanted Gatewood to start, I think it's family ties and probably doing just enough to keep Gatewood from transferring. I think Nix can keep u in games but Gatewood imo would break games open. He's more equipped to run Malzahn's offense, I think some big wigs up top pulled that string to start Nix.

Yeah, with starting time he would get comfortable. I see him not being as comfortable letting the ball go from the throws I've seen from him. A little off balance, but he hits the throws they let him take shots on though. I would like to see him start 1 game to see what he has. I just don't think Gus is that dude to do it, because it would most likely cause a QB controversy. Gus doesn't want that.

Tutt is in the right position. Star is exactly what he is in this defense. Even on special teams this dude shows out.

i misread you other post. I agree, Gatewood is the better qb, and better qb for the system. Look at Cam, he didn't really get in his bag until about 3 or 4 games in, I see the same QB in Gatewood. Using him that way opens up the entire offense.
