Not sure what you’re saying but they started slow offensively every game and they made adjustments defensively and we didn’t really have the urgency we should have to get more creative until the momentum had swung back too heavily in their favor. Our defense was fine, got a little conservative with play calling but they were awful on 3rd down. Getting 1 or 2 of those 4th down stops would’ve been nice but we’ll get there. Secondary is young as hell.

That comeback was huge for the Dawgs if I'm understanding the new format. Imagine they get blown out like 45-7 or something. It wouldn't have been a death sentence at all because of the 12-team playoff but if they were to lose another game and then have that blowout... at some point the resume starts looking weak..

A 1-score loss at Alabama is a lot different. Now the Dawgs can lose another game and still don't have to worry even a little bit...imo
