Blah is it Oochie Wally or One Mic? Lets not act like the albums following 96, including collab with The Firm, were 5 mic worthy. I listen to Nas btw but now gargling his nut like most Stans.

Thank you for a sensible reply with insight and subject-verb agreement instead of a emotional driven neg, but we will agree to disagree. Each of the lps you mentioned had maybe 3 out of 12 solid tracks on the album. Especially stillmatic. Can only think of Ether and One Mic that comes to mind off the album is memorable. It Was Written was the last album that I can play from start to finish.Doesn't necessarily make them weed plates either. Stillmatic, God's Son, and The Lost Tapes was a crazy run. Distant Relatives and Life Is Good are great too. The others have their moments, but fall short.

It Was Written is possibly the only album I can think of where a rapper reached star status, but was also bringing grade A lyricism and concepts to the table.
Only other album I can think of that fits this description would be GKMC

All the more reason I'm still baffled at IWW getting the backlash it did when it came out. I could understand if it was an album like Nastradamus, but IWW was solid for the most part.
Slaves stomping out the 'master'. I need visuals for that 1.Motherfukkas were not ready for that intro! !
