Rizzo deserves so much shyt, but he did atone by leading off the 9th off Clase.

A lot of guys got some measure of redemption.

Wells with the homer
Chisholm sucked tonight and I don't wanna lump him in this list, but he did lay down a nice bunt
Verdugo's been our most reliable non-Soto lefty bat
Leiter didn't completely set the game on fire a day after being added to the roster

Bibee vs. Rodon/Stroman tomorrow.

I say go with Stroman tomorrow so you’re guaranteed a rested Cole and Rodon at home if needed.

These guys gotta tighten up drastically in the WS and let’s hope the Mets and Dodgers drag this thing out to 7 based on what happened tonight.

Can’t stay much more about Stanton aside from the fact that he has stepped up time and time again and I could legit see him getting that World Series MVP strictly off of his hitting even though Soto does it all and has been clutch in right.

Can we rely on pitching? It’s a crapshoot after the first two dude in the rotation and even Cole needs do be on a short-ish leash. But he will need to throw two gems against the Dodgers since I don’t see it going 5 games and that’s that.

Jazz Chisholm is 4 for 34 so far this postseason.
(.129/.182/.258)

He has made some good plays defensively at 3B, but this is unacceptable.

You can’t be a Johnny Damon and Nick Swisher type fan favorite but not deliver like those two did when it mattered.

Can’t wait for game 3 of the World Series when the shīt is 1-1 in a decisive game to suddenly wake up. He needs to be a factor in grabbing the pennant TONIGHT.

And if his bat is going to be so damn cold not a single ball better pass his way down that damn their base line or thru the hole. Motherfųcka better be turning triple plays like he’s about to get the Gold Glove award renamed after him.

Nah, I don't trust Stroman starting.

Just start Rodon. He's pitching on normal rest, and he pitched great his 1st outing. Get the win tonight so you can have everyone on rest mode for Game 1 of the World Series, which is Friday

Damon sure, but Swisher’s career postseason batting average was not counting pitchers who had to bat, a franchise worst .160 :francis:

Nestor possibly making it back for the WS could be big with how taxed the bullpens are these playoffs are for everyone. He can eat 3 innings behind Gil/Schmidt and neutralize a big lefty hitter in a big spot. Ohtani is 2/12 against him (2 singles)
The Dodger i fear the most ain't Ohtani or Freeman or Betts. It's Teoscar.

Volpe has shut me and many others up at the plate, as well…even outside of what he did in the 9th last night
