Stanton better be hitting 4th behind Judge for the rest of the playoffs.

enough with the Wells cleanup bullshyt
The only reason Wells hits after Judge is because Boone thinks it gives the Yankees an advantage.

Opposing pitchers can bring in a right handed reliever if it's Judge and Stanton.

The problem is, Austin Wells sucks against righties, too.

My wife was like no biggie they up 2-1.

I was like games are hard to win in the playoffs when your one out a way you gotta take that. Who knows Gil very very easily can be wild and and get rocked and now it’s 2-2

On the same token he can pitch a gem and be up 3-1 and game 3 you can look back and be like that was wild but whatever.

I’m ultimately not worried but what’s the Yankees record when Stanton and judge hit HR’s in the same game? It’s something wild. You gotta win those games man

If Gil ends up being rusty and disappointing today…is Stroman really the backup option?

yup.

Not having Cortes this round hurts, but the Yankees probably woulda started Gil had we lost game 3 in KC. I just hope he's ready cuz going forward he's a big part of the rotation.

If we win today, game 3 didn't happen as far as I'm concerned.

They still on that clown shyt hitting Stanton 5th. :snoop:
Stanton at 5 isn't bad. While we loved the 8th inning, the previous two turns up, Soto/Judge/Stanton had non competitive ass AB's. You wanna lengthen the lineup to where 7-8-9 aren't automatic outs (and you keep a lefty in between Judge /Stanton.

Jazz just needs to wake the fukk up. We can't win a title without him

I thought Cleveland had too many quality swings yesterday. Even their fouls were hard hit

Then I looked at the numbers: 3HR's, 4 doubles, 7 walks, only 5 strikeouts

Gil's swing and miss ability+ occasional wildness may actually work in making their hitters somewhat uncomfortable
