everytime he got runners on he swinging at the first pitch , kind of easy to read he need to switch it up

because nobody has hit in that spot all year long and when Wells started playing there, the team started playing better, but he's been in a 6 week slump.
The only reason he's still there now (besides the fact that we're winning) is that none of the other lefties have produced, specifically Chisholm.
