Question - how do you feel about a bad strike call early in a count “changing the whole AB”?

I feel like it happens a lot to Judge where the AB is “ruined” because of a close or bad strike call early in a count like his first plate appearance last night.

I know all types of players are different, but a lot of times it seems like the AB doesn’t even begin until Soto gets that first or even second strike call, good or bad.

Of course, I’m not saying Judge doesn’t get it done late in a count or down 2 strikes, but it seems common with him. Am I buggin?
The issue with Judge is that not only does he get by far the biggest strike zone in baseball and the biggest I’ve ever seen a batter have to protect, but umpires are crazy inconsistent with him so he has to chase more pitches since he knows he can’t trust the umpires to call balls and strikes properly. It’s different with Soto because he seems to consistently get the same strike zone whether it’s a hitter friendly or pitcher friendly umpire. Judge isn’t afforded the same treatment.

This team is so much better if one of wells jazz Volpe Verdugo are hitting well.

Volpe has looked pretty good if they can just get one of the others to be on they go from being a good team to great team.
