LeBron formed a Superteam that still had equal if not better competition in the West EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. Only years where his team was more talented were 2011 and 2015 and the latter was a fluke loss. Those Heat teams and these Cavs teams are flawed, but this Golden State team is literally perfect.
I have no clue how dudes can Compare this team to Bron's teams when The Warriors, unlike the Heat or Cavs, have the talent AND youth (Heat and Cavs don't/didn't have youth) to go "not 3, not 4" etc.... There's not A SINGLE COMPETITOR ANYWHERE. The Heat had the Spurs and Thunder and The Cavs had The Warriors until KD came and turned the Franchise into The 60's Celtics..
That is what is wrong with this hot take generation, the trolling Etc and no use for context. Even during the Heat era you had multiple people talking about challengers to the Heat like Chicago, Spurs, OKC, ATL and even one year the sixers when they had Iggy and Brand. The heat were the type of super team you want in the league if you have to have some. Top heavy core with role players, but GSW is another animal. 2 superstars, 1 star and 1 all star/star with good role players(Iggy, West and Livingston) and serviceable youth in Clark and McCaw.
But at the end of the day free agency is that FREE and should be exercised, but there is a difference between super teams and a juggernaut like GSW. They have no direct competitors that can challenge them for the foreseeable future with this core in tact. They get rings that you play for and need for your resume, but if this continues and the teams don't find a way to counter,it kinda sours the rings. Simply because there was no challenge.
