It's my office, I can do whatever the f*ck I want. And a college degree is a ridiculous requirement for an office job? :heh: Socialist azz nikkas :scusthov: Move to Cuba, jobs are guaranteed, no college degree needed :smugfavre:

it is a ridiculous requirement and we all know it. most low level office jobs can be done by high school interns. college degree my azz. and i have a damn degree from a top tier uni. i'm saying it is a waste. i'm saying jobs should be guaranteed and if one is not guaranteed then the cost of living should be covered as well as the cost of survival (food, cost of utilities). nobody chose to enter this life, this evil economic system.

No, that's not correct, education is not a right. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are the only unalienable rights. You want to learn a trade, you got to pay to learn, the game is to be sold, not to be told. Welcome to Gotham, it's cold out this b*tch

Move to Cuba/North Korea, let me know communism treats you. This is the real world, that's the situation. You're fortunate enough to get loans. A lot of countries either you have the cash or you don't, and you nikkaz are still ungrateful :snoop:

Once again I am in school :skip:

Just because you made it in the door you don't care about the people behind you. This ain't the late 90s anymore

Not true, but what's with all this life ain't fair moistness? :scusthov: And I'm from the 00's I graduated a few months before the recession started. If you in school and you feel it's unfair, that's your opinion. It's a free market and the companies can use any standard it wants, and I guarantee you even with the BA minimum requirement, they still have too many applicants.

I do, that's why the US is great, anybody can get an education, not just the families of the elite. But it ain't the government's fault sh*t is expensive :manny: You're always welcome to go to college in the DR, like a lot of doctors who can't afford medical school here in the US, but instead of b*tching, they do something about it :obama:

I just showed the stats for @7Revo. Cal is charging $13K/yr if you don't live on campus. That's the same tuition I paid 8 yrs ago when I was in school. If you can't find a way to pay at least $7K/yr while you're in school, you're not going to make it in the real world. That's the harsh truth. You should not go to school, you should look into selling coke or meth.

8 years ago they weren't lookin for degrees for the jobs that they are needing degrees for today. More and more jobs are demanding degrees out of nowhere and the amount is rising. To even get a descent job to pay for most things while your in college you need a degree. Something you haven't addressed.

Your bk job won't even cover costs for many things you need in this current time like food or water and even if you stay at home not all parents will simply let their kid stay around the house and not pay rent, transportation or other expenses.

Then there is the issue of rising tuition where less and less people are gonna be able to afford it and pay off the debt without much interest as the years go on. Something else you havent addressed.

I haven't even went into things if you decided to do a transfer program and go to a state college for a better chance at a job.

Your self interest is the only thing you have shown. Unlike you Im concerned about otheres making it out there.

BK is paying minimum wage. And you don't need a college degree to work at Nordstrom's/Foot Locker/etc, and all those are paying $9/hr+, that can get you by as long as you don't need to stunt.

90% of parents will let their kid stay home if he is getting an education. In fact, people are moving out later and later in life, as opposed to before. That however on a case by case basis can be difficult. If your parents want you to pay rent while you're going to school, you might as well move out, which then would make life difficult. However, this is by far not the norm, most parents in some way, shape or form support their kids while they're in college.

It's $13K right now. I don't see the point of your argument. If it was $80K, then I'd agree

I'm tryin' to motivate you nikka, you nikkaz want to be cuddled and tucked into bed. Might as well move to Houston

1) Working since 11

2) Out of house at 18 (I did stay at the house during the summers though, I was permanently out at 23)

3) Self-employed since 25

So I don't wanna hear sh*t about how life is unfair. Sh*t reeks of b*tchazzness and moistness :scusthov:

I feel you on the bolded, cause it is the absolute truth, and nobody owes you anything....

But can you easily dismiss that a lot of unguided 17 year olds are slightly brainwashed into taking out student(predatory) loans in the beginning of their college career?

Doesn't a red flag go up if you loan a 18/19 year old with no collateral or job 20k or greater?

Fistful of jewels
life is unfair and it should not be. education is a human right. it should not be a for-profit industry.

Sorry to bust your bubble but there is no such thing as a "human right". The only right you have, is to die. Its up to yourself to survive however that may be. So long as you're not hurting anyone, you're good in my book. Yesterday, a kid about 16 came to my door asking if he can wash my car for 5 bucks. I didn't need it done. But the kid was out there making moves. He had a wagon, buckets, rags, etc. More than likely that kid will be successful some day because he has desire and drive to just make it happen.

That's why we here for that Thug Motivation 101. I'm not preaching debt, I'm preaching investment. Like any investment, you're supposed to make more than you invested within a certain time frame. Everybody can make their own rule, but mine is 1 year's salary. Your investment in education should not be more than 1 year's salary. If it is, then you need to find a way to reduce it a) by getting a part time job b) by saving up first then going. If you look at it like that, then you'll be alright. If you just want to live like Van Wilder and then go :to: when that $100K bill hits, then that's on you. I'm out here willing to motivate and give advice to people trying to make it. A lot of these nikkaz just seem to want to complain about the unfairness of life. Life ain't fair, if it was, we'd all been born 6'6" with a 12" d*ck, a 50" vertical, and a 10 figure trust fund when we turn 18. It ain't the cards you're dealt, it's how you play your hand.
