If that's true, I can sort of imagine the Lakers counting this as a developing year. Teams practically never win their first year in the playoffs anyway.

Get all the young guys a year of playoff experience, LeBron gets them into the 2nd or 3rd round, see who plays together the best, and then make the boss moves to round out the team and make them contenders next year.

Otherwise I think they're still two moves away....Kawhi and a center.

I don't think LeBron actually had anything to do with Altman trades, but it looks funny as hell in hindsight.
