This would be my plan at this point:

1.) Throw a max or near max offer at Capela to force Houston's hand.

2.) If LeBron signs: offer Kuzma and Ingram for Kawhi (no other players). If they accept it, you have Ball, Hart, Kawhi and LeBron 1-4.

3.) If Houston matches, take a flyer on that a$$hole Noel. He'll be cheap and have something to prove.

Maybe it’s discussions going on in house concerning Kawhi. Honestly, it looks like either LeBron has to sign or Kawhi has to make it clear that he’ll only resign to the Lakers in order to get some real leverage in all this.

I don’t know if I’m willing to lose Kawhi over these kids. I love our young guys but we might have to do what we gotta do. If he’d just sign with us we can build a better team with the added leverage otherwise we’re in a bind.

It does feel like he has told the Lakers he will sign with them.

It's been said that he knows where he wants to go already. That's why it came out the other day he didn't want any elaborate pitch meetings. Also if he seriously was considering Philly why wouldn't he go to the meeting with his agent?

Bron and his team has known for a while now where he's going to play. Just like KD knew he was going to the Warriors and just like Bron knew where he was going when he left In 2010 and 2014.

I know his agent meeting with the Sixers got everybody up in arms but I think it was just a goodwill gesture since Ben Simmons is also represented by Rich Paul and Klutch.
