Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is reportedly meeting confidants at a Caribbean location dubbed "The Decision Cave" to weigh his options for the future.

On Friday, Brian Windhorst of ESPN (via Deadspin's Giri Nathan) provided an update on James' decision-making process after Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reported the four-time NBA MVP's agent informed the Cavs he's declining a player option in his contract to become an unrestricted free agent.

"He's planning on having a meeting with his closest advisors and friends," Windhorst said. "I believe, you know, he's still in the Caribbean, and I believe that his friends have come there and they're gonna huddle there. They have what they call 'The Decision Cave.'"

So Magic wanted to empty the entire cupboard to just merely entice Lebron into coming. I gotta call BS on all this reporting so far. Surely based on all the moves they've made up to this point, that Magic/Pelinka are much SMARTER than this right?

He's a GREAT fit with Bron if he can hit open 3's at a decent clip. Doesn't have to shoot lights out like he did at UCLA, but needs to be in the high 30's percentage wise.

Exactly. I been feeling like Zo can thrive with guys like Bron/Kawhi/PG. At UCLA he played pretty well off ball and shot the ball well. Even on the Lakers he knew how to get open when playing off ball. Just has to get that shot back up to just average. He's not shytty shooter, just had a bad shooting season as a rookie.

they can both handle the ball and run the offense

Exactly what I was saying in the free agent thread.
