The injury probably isn't even serious, he was diagnosed like 2 months ago. If he needed needed surgery it would have already happened, imo.

Drafting and keeping cost controlled players with so much ability and upside is how you have cap space to build a super team these days. That’s how the Celtics and Warriors got to where they are.

As for the trade for Kawhi, we have no salary filler besides Deng. The Spurs aren’t taking Deng.

How are the reports conflicting? One reported the Spurs wants and the other reported what the Lakers are willing to give up. They, of course, are different from each other or a deal would be done.

Because if the Lakers aren't willing to come off of Ingram OR Kuzma then that means the Lakers and Spurs are worlds apart on a deal. Huge difference between Spurs simply wanting one of those players to get the deal done compared to another report saying the Spurs want both and Hart and all those picks. If the two teams are that far apart there's no need to even report updates on the talks still. The truth is likely somewhere in the middle.
