If these Kawhi reports are true then this changes everything:

a) We don't to offer any crazy packages for him, just a simple fair package most can live with.
b) Communicate to Kawhi's people that the Spurs are being difficult as hell and he should just be patient for one more year, we saving a space for him.

Spurs have zero leverage and it's too much of a gamble for other teams to jump in. This feels different than the PG situation.
