Austin vs Hogan is the biggest match in wrestling history. They both did the most for the business and watching wwf and wcw during the monday night wars that was the dream match that everyone wanted. Also I don't think Austin would have been boo'd like the Rock was. (Was austin ever boo'd as a face?)
The crowd reaction would've been interesting, they also wouldn't of had to get rid of the nwo either.

It would've been easy to hold off on Rock vs Hogan until 19. I would've liked to see Rock vs Hall.

I agree The rock vs hall would've been a better matchup.

I would've given the outsiders the tag belts that night beating the hardy's

Austin was older and more hurt Austin/Hogan needed to happen then. The Rock was younger and more healthy him vs Hogan should've been later, they could've had both.

Hogan was cheered when he leg dropped Austin and at Toronto Austin would have been booed too wwf was on the Hogan Nostalgia high...to be honest throughout all the 2000s when Hogan appeared on wwf or wwe he got the biggest pops of the night including the 15yr anniversary episode that involved Austin

They were cheering Hogan but they weren't booing Austin. They would have cheered BOTH in Toronto would've been 50/50
