Are cac's that upset about a black man having a leading role? There is no reason why this movie didn't do units besides cacs being cacs if you ask me.

I liked the movie but have some issues with it too. First the acting was staid and unrealistic. At times I thought I was watching a Power Rangers movie. Second the international focus was disconcerting and unnecessary. It's like the Spanish director went out of his way not to include Americans. Third the movie could have been longer.
The fact that you would even say this proves it was necessary. You been brainwashed into thinking that if the shyt hits the fan ONLY The United States is going to get involved and they'll be leading the charge. You think if the entire world was being attacked by Giant Monsters Japan, China, the UK, and other nations wouldn't try and do something about it and pool their resources?
Also the main character is supposed to be American, Charlie Hunnam just gives no fukks about trying to keep up his American accent.
