@Bossino
When I say direct communication, I don't necessarily mean "you trying to fukk", which is a step up from manipulating someone, but also kind of tacky and probably disrespectful at times.
I mean more like having a conversation with someone about what you both are interested in, not only regarding the sexual experience, but where does it go after? It doesn't have to be intensely neurotic. Cultivate relationships with trust and consideration, and not deceit and manipulation. So, that someone will be comfortable sleeping with me, knowing I won't treat them badly, but also having the benefit of me saying what I am and not interested in, or capable of. That's what I r try to do. Thats more like relationship sex stuff.
For this Dusse guy situation, and similar ones: Don't rely on indirect communication, like sometimes a ride home is just a ride home, and two people have vastly different expectations, and versions of a shared experience. Communication, directly helps a lot here. Doesn't mean signing affidavits or acting paranoid about every touch, but some real, honest communication goes a long way. And not looking at sex as the be all and end all of every interaction with a woman. I think we overvalue sex, and undervalue people. And this is socialized to us, very young, for men.
