Or companies releasing digital copies of games only. Here I am trying to find a stand-alone copy of Mass Effect for the PS3, come to find out EA/Bioware didn't make one. :what:

That game was published my Microsoft, of course there isnt a stand alone PS3 version.

Yeah, if you wait until late Thursday or Friday to order something you might not get it til Monday. They have an option for some items that are ordered on Friday for guaranteed Saturday delivery for 8.99

:bryan:

But that's why I usually order things that I really want quickly early in the week. I'll still buy certain things from Best Buy because of the Reward Zone credits that they give you though.
I always break things down with time in mind. Honestly if I really want something and the difference is less than $20 I will just buy it the same day in a store. I'm the same way with food shopping...I work next to a Kroger and just buy my food there. fukk I look like going across town to WalMart to save $10 overall. I think @zerozero mentioned that on the higher learning podcast before. one might look at that and see the potential saving of $40 a month...I see anywhere from 7-9 hours saved on my personal time.

For those as impatient as I am and want to cut costs, just try to grab a gift card on the cheap and pickup in store.

Instant gratification is overrated though in this case. Think about it, if u a re hungry...u still have to go get food to be gratified. It's not instant. If u decide at this exact moment, u want to buy a hat...u still have to go to the store, spend gas, train fare or walk to get it. Not instant.

I do know what u mean in the general sense, but I hear this As it relates to online v store on occasion and wonder exactly what instant gratification is being referred to.

this is actually a pretty good case of instant gratification. you're taking on the term instant way too literally. instant gratification isn't right this second vs. 15 minutes from now. it's more of a today vs tomorrow thing.

using your example, eating a elio's pizza because i'm hungry isn't instant gratification because i had to microwave it for a few minutes.

in shopping at bm stores vs online, the instant gratification is spending more money to get it today while deferred gratification would be getting it tomorrow but saving some money.

But then instant gratification can be defined by 'a click of the mouse' and knowing my stuff is on the way too. This was specific in relation to shopping b buying online.

Meh. To each his own.

I love Amazon but I would rather have a physical store that i can grab something from. I am impatient and hate waiting even 3-4 days for something to be delivered. Im not about paying $15-20 extra for next day air either :beli:

sign up for prime. next day is $3.99

For real, especially cables or wires.

Have you see some of these prices they charge for some regular cables and/or cords?

Yep. I bought some HDMI cables online for $5. That was over a year ago and they still work great.

How much are they at the store? $30+:stopitslime:
