Its still crazy to me dat a 25 yr old left such an imprint and legacy not only jus in hip hop but on the planet :wow: most ppl aint even start they life work yet at 25 :damn:

for real bro, it's a shame that he died. imagine the great things he could have been today, he would be talking about Sandra Bland, Mike Brown, etc and police brutality unlike most black celebrities who don't really care.

my bad for @ on you randomly lmao
"They could never understand
what u set out 2 do
instead they chose 2
ridicule u

when u got weak
they loved the sight
of your dimming
and flickering starlight

How could they understand what was so intricate
2 be loved by so many, so intimate
they wanted 2 c your lifeless corpse
this way u could not alter the course
of ignorance that they have set
2 make my people forget
what they have done
for much 2 long 2 just forget and carry on
I had loved u forever because of who you are and now I mourn our fallen star."

ladies just happened to really love Pac :manny: and were you mad, shocked, or depressed when B.I.G. died ?

Yeah, I was hurt when BIG died. Just coming home from church and saw it on the news. It was rough because to me he was the best MC I had ever heard, and was just getting started.

I understand why people were so sad when Pac died, now. He influenced a lot of people and meant a lot. I wasn't a big fan of his before he died, but when the Makaveli tape came out, I realized how talented he was. Plus I had just left for college and in high school my friends and I were on some ultra wannabe NY tip, and I grew out of that.

So you wasn't really bumping anymore rap like that in college after BIG died ? And where you from if you don't mind me asking ? .. I'm actually from NY myself.

I was 5 years old when he died. I was in kindergarten tho but my cousins were in high school and they was depressed. Its crazy i remeber clearly after he died they showed the music video of "I aint Mad at ya." Its crazy how one decision led to his death. He shouldnt went to Vegas.

Lot of people in the crew said he really didn't wanna be in Vegas, but Suge kept pushing so there they went

I'm from South Florida, but my best friend was originally from Queens. We gravitated towards the East Coast scene in terms of music and fashion. So we were heavy into Biggie, Wu-Tang, Redman, Boot Camp Clik, Nas, Mobb Deep, ATCQ, etc. The only West Coast albums i bumped in HS were The Chronic, Doggystyle, and Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde.

In college I opened my horizons and started listening to Outkast, Goodie Mob, 8Ball & MJG, Cash Money, E-40, Scarface, and others. I still was into the East Coast hip hop, but my taste became more universal.
