If I recall, he died on a Friday, the 13th.
Crazy time. I was 16. There were teachers in school that took breaks in class to talk about his murder.
Taken away from us far too early....
Well people don't quite remember just how big the East vs West rap beef was.damn that's crazy, were your teachers rap fans or just people who wanted know about him ? and were some females in your school crying over him dying ?
this. bruh imagine what he could have done today, he would probably be a movie star with a wife and kids maybe. i think he was engaged to Quincy Jones daughter at the time of his death.

So when Pac died, everyone was talking about how sad it was, but people were really afraid that a massive battle was going to come out and that East coast rappers were going to get murdered.
And it wasn't just Biggie. Mobb Deep, CNN...there was talk about a lot of artists going down.
But the Pac death made people realize that it all went too far.
It was an incredible waste of an enormous talent that I know we as Hip Hop fans have never and probably never recover from within our lifetimes. It would have been interesting to see if he and Big could have ever reconciled....Hip Hop history would irrevocably be changed for the better had he still been around...
