Maybe a few did maybe they didn't but I don't see the problem telling the GM especially if it was more than one person which it seems like it was. All of them going to tell LaRoche they don't want his kid in the locker room he would have gotten upset and then it would have escalated to the GM where he would have had to make a decision anyways. Might as well tell someone who can actually do something about the problem. And having to tell another player to keep his kid at home isn't something another player should expect to have to do that is a management issue that should be addressed up higher ups not players.

exactly this is what management is paid to do. this isnt some meet me by the oak tree after practice i got an issue with you and your kid type shyt. who knows how dude is gonna react when you step to him about what he should do with his seed. ive seen fights break out at walmart because someone told a parent to keep their fukking kid in line. why would you confront a teammate youre going to end up on the road with and working around for the next 7 months to tell him to stop bringing his kid around? worst case end up in a fight that could cost them their place on the squad, or at the very least end up in a position where they look like the a$$hole and are answering reporters questions about why they hate a 14 year old. thats what the gm is paid to do
