Applying for Network Engineer and Network admin jobs

The thing is i can't really punch up and lie

You need to season that resume.

My resume:



•Monitored and investigated network performance, responded to proactive and transport alerts.

"Monitored and analyzed network performance to maintain seamless operations, while proactive addressing alerts and transport issues affecting system integrity."

•Configured and rectified routers, switches, mrvs and SD-Wans.

"Configured routers, switches, MRVs, and SD-WANs from various vendors (Cisco, Meraki, Adtran, Ciena) to ensure optimal network functionality and reliability."

•Routed phone numbers with Transaction Language commands and completed port orders.

"Used Transaction Language to route phone numbers and efficiently processed porting orders to ensure seamless service transitions."

•Provide Smart Hands support for collocation clients, including installing and troubleshooting equipment.

life got in the way but back on course taking the A+ cert in 2 weeks
the program im in is paying for Cybersecurity Analyst( Sec+ and Cysa+), net +, data analysis with a focus on (SQL). i wanted to ask what should take next? or should i pay out of pocket for other certs?

also my ultimate goal is for remote positions to open up for me. What the best path in IT for that?
net+ and beyond seems like il be in date centers..so that a no for me.

Has anyone ever taken the CKA(Certified Kuberenetes Administrator) recently or before? I took it last night and stepped into a trainwreck with that exam :sadcam:any insight or resources will help.

Most of the remote jobs I’ve been seeing are cloud and Linux admin positions
